Blowfish Items

The Blowfish Item assortment. THhese Powerups were simple stat boosts or small utility tools for the player. The design was simple and most are inspired by pop culture, like the Mario pants as the mermaid? tail, or the Belt item as a reference to Spongebob Squarepants' Mambo Setting. The "Butter bei die Fische" is a German way of speech, probably closest in meaning to "let's cut to the chase" while the Power Item is a reference to Star Wars III when Senator Palpatine yells: "Unlimited Power!"
